Broadheads are down right scary now a days LOL" Rage put them down or your money back " and the Holes that they leave are incredible . when they 1st came out check in stations acused guys of shooting deer with 50 cal muzzle loaders . We both shoot Rage but i also picked up a pack of G5 T3 heads the package says total devastation LOL and they mean it .

Holy Hanah Brother! That's got to be what they're using in those bow shows. Man that is NASTY! They had a dude up in BC Canada over a bear bait. A nice chocolate bear was working his way in and started acting funny. I knew right off what was up since I live with bears. Of a sudden this HUGE black one comes out, some 480 pounds worth of bear. The guy laces em square, the bear goes 18 yards and flops over with all 4 in the air!
A lot more humane than the older generation stuff for sure.
LOL i just read the package on the broad heads it says " Unspeakable Devastation" as i double checked everything and the wife and i got everything packed can ya tell we are excited ..... Ha Ha triple check stuff tomorrow when the wife gets home from work then pack truck get ready for ride to sisters early wednesday morn to Bedford leave truck there sister bring us to the airport

Those G5's are great! They did my bear away in short order. As for running... Well its hard to say since my nervous back up man put a .450 into it immediately after arrow impact. But the arrow head penatrated great through bone even.

I did not know you were a hunter as well. Great news! We should be able to stay in fly tying materials with a bear and deer here and there 
Well if vegetarian is an old indian word for bad hunter, than I eat a lot of weeds! 
I have never been a very good hunter. Just lucky a couple of times. I look foward to some turkey hunting in the spring, and some deer by arrow in the following fall. It has been many years since I have even tried to hunt.
My last kill wa a black bear in Northern Quebec. About five years ago I think.

It's been a spell since I hoisted a compound bow so I can see much has changed. Somehow, in the 1000 channels I have on the Comcast net , I found 178, the Sportsman Channel. Monday is "Full Draw Monday", all bow kills for 24 hours straight.
I don't know what the Hell they did to broadhead technology but the average deer stuck with one goes less than 40 yards and checks out! I've had deer go further with a well placed shot from a rifle.
