How many people on here use Spey or Switch rods?  I just got a Spey and I really want to get proficient with it.  I'd like to get together and pick up a few pointers.

 Russ,

it is nice to see some activity here from someone "new."  I mean since I have been here this might be your most recent post.  Thanks for being part of our community.

Sadly I am too knew to fly fishing in general to have much knowledge to share with you about thsi topic,  But I look on with interest to see who does.  So I may learn a little about it.

I have yet to see any one swinging anything with two hands yet, that wasnt on the salt.

Russ I use a 2 hander for steelies and atlantics. My advice to you is find someone in your area who is a certified instuctor and take a basic lesson it will be the best money spent. LL Bean may still run a school on 2H not sure check their site. You might also check out you tube for free videos on the different casts or purchase a video such as Rio's Modern Speycasting. Lots of info on the web.
