The Nor Vise has a place, but IMHO, it's not the vise that can do everything and the end of all fly vises as we know them.
I noticed in the video that he rolls the hub about the same speed I flip the handle on a Renzetti. Not using much of the advantage there.
Myself, I found the Nor without peers in spinning dubbing and if someone ties a lot of dubbed nymphs the Nor is well worth the investment for that alone.
Just my 2 cents having had one of the Nor Vises.
Torn between posting in fly tying section or in equpment . I just wanted to show the folks on here someone using the nor vise
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
