I've gotten some woodduck flank feathers this way too. Who the Hell wants to pay for it if you can just put word out and order a hit! An old boss of mine duck hunts and brought me in bags of the stuff. Told me they would need to be cleaned, but just gave em to me. Not sure if he knows how much the stuff sells for, but It's a lifetime supply for me

About this time every year I put on my Godfather hat and get a hit going. I contacted my "Boss" in NJ, who contacted another Boss in NY, who contacted another in VT. Not to long after, I got an email saying that the Woodrow Brothers were dead. Perfect!
Andy in VT caught up with them in a beaver bog and shot them both dead. They are survived by other members of the Woodrow family and 2 egg laying spouses. These boys will not be venturing south for the Winter. Services will be held around Thanksgiving at Andy's dinner table. Flank feathers will be at Koda's tying bench.

Dave, rumor on the street was neither of the boys respected their elders and Andy said they tried to fly the coop when he caught up with them and confronted them with it. The 12 bore with steel shot ended the disrespect.
