Well i had some time this morning after going out hunting to hit a local brook and fish for a couple of hours was a beautiful morning fished for about 3 hours caught 3 or so nice brookies ... one was beautiful male all colored up very nice fish . i have 2 days off then the overtime really starts so this may well be my last wekend of flyfishing until spring Smile i plan on hunting pretty hard the next couple of days as well Smile hope you enjoy the pics some nice water with some real beautys.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hopefull have some more from another brrok i fish tomorrow Smile off to get stuff ready for afternoon huntSmile

You're livin large there Ziggy! It just don't get much better than that. I love the picture of the fly rod with fish blabbers all over the grip. Only thing I hate worse than breaking in a new pair of boots is a new cork grip on a fly rod.  Gotta have a nice patina of fish slime on it before it will ever cast its best Smile

 Nice pictures Ziggy!  I never got my pictures up from fishing this same brook!  Colors sure are getty purtty this time of year Smile

 

Here is one of the one's I got.  Quality isn't great, was taken with my phone.  Was a chilly day went I went, rained a little.  I was cold, my hands were going numb.   As I watched a brookie move form the bottom and up to take my fly all I could think was one thing: "this is life!"

Nice nic glad to see you had some luck there also .... i will have to show you a couple of other brooks you may enjoy for next season .... for now its over time to hunt ... maybe just maybe hit the sugar river in a week or two see if we can get into some late season trout .
