Guess I'm going to do this one backwards by asking if this vise is as good as it looks.  I've been trying to find something not to like about it and so far I can't.  And that's through the eyes of an Engineer.

One of the features that really has me intrigued is the centering gage and the adjustable main head. It looks like one rugged heavy duty vise.  It's got to be to do 8/0 hooks!

I think if they threw in a set of midge jaws I might get swooned into getting one and selling off the Renzetti.

If anyone has one of these critters I'd be curious as to their take on it.  Is it greener grass, or, is it worth the "froggies" in the long run.

Believe Dyna King is the only vise I have not tied on yet in a rotary.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Koda,

Why don't you mimic some of the great features of this obviously awesome vise and begin producing your own brand?  Your reels look and sound awesome.  I'd be happy to upgrade a vise with a product you were responsible for.

I don't think there is anything mechanically difficult to re-engineer about this vice.  It is just a lot of practical useful integration that make this unit awesome.  I'm confident you could do it, an it might be lucrative for your business.  Just a thought.

Thanks Theron for the vote of confidence.  I could manufacture them but it would come down to final OEM cost. Dyna King has been at it for some time and I'd have to offer a much better price to gain a market. I'm enaged in a project with REC at the moment but Andy may be up to the challenge.
