I appreciate the invite and am glad to be part of the site and get to know some of you.  I am a long time friend of T-Bones and also have recently got to enjoy some fishing with Ziggy.  I have fly tied and fished for many years but it was always still water for bass, pickerel, and panfish.  T-Bone got me out this year with his new found interest and its been absolutely addictive.  I was lucky enough to pull out a good 18" brooky for my first trout on fly.  That was it , I was hooked.  Since then I have had decent luck catching brookies and rainbows but I have tons to learn.  I look forward to getting to know you all and hopefully learning a lot from your experience.

Thanks,

Matt, (Tundra1000)

Welcome Matt!  You are already among good people and I believe this forum will become the one that the good guys all want to be a part of.

I wondered if you would make it over here.  There are fewer people here, but the company is outstanding.

Hey Matt welcome to the site. I am sure you will like it. Small group here and the folks here are as friendly as they come.  So you got the Brookie bug . That is completely understandable. Love the Brook Trout . Especially in the fall . Nothing compares to a Brook Trout Male in full color,  You said you have been tying for some years. I hope to see some of your work. I have been an on off tyer as of late, I really need to sit down and hit the vise. Well don't be afraid to jump right in. Sense you already know a few of our newer members I am sure it won't take long to your post away. Dave V

 Hey Matt,

Welcome to the site!  Nice to see some new faces, the forum seems to be getting more and more active with some quality discussions.
