This is the same post i put on another site i really didn't want to have to type another long story so here it is:

This is a bit long but explains our trip in general fashion and i have added many pics to tell a story as well.
It all started friday morn we got on the road about noon and headed after some quick stops and opps wrong turn we made it to camp about 4 ish, we got set up grabed the gear and walked down threw the woods towards the sound of roaring water . we got down to find the water fishable but high and less then perfect for wading too far out. i think the 1st night yielded couple of rainbows and few others lost as a group. we returned to camp at dark and finished setting up and cooked up some yummy food. we stayed up and got to shoot the breeze and have a few adult beverages, We got up sat rearing to go and was on the river about 6 am ran into a couple of people but seemed, most only tried fishing a few spots and were gone, we found hiking in to the river in diffrent locations away from the big named pools seemd to produce for us so that was mostly the route we went. 1st spot we found fishable below the 2nd dam was a nice sweeping corner and was holding some fish . we picked up a few fish and matt had an equipment issue that Quickly took us to visit the local shop (Lopstick)for some flies and a new rod . all back to good we headed out for some more fishing . was much of the same the rest of the day and i think that afternoon we went on small ride exploring and seeing some nice spots , we went to a bog i think it was scotts bog or something like that was beautiful area, we got to see a coy dog on our way out very pretty animal but didn't get a pic. that night we hit camp again for more adult beverages and more chit chat . sunday found us sleeping in a bit and we got to go down to the river and fish a section we did on friday night , this time for me was the time to take theron aside and show him some stuff, i had offered it to matt also but he seemed to be having a blast heading up and exploring on his own and he seemed to do very well catching some fish Which was cool to see and the happiness i know it brought him, was Priceless, there were no words to describe it, just facial expressions Theron got to learn a few things i hope and stuff he can take with him to any body of water and utilize. we worked on some casting and some flies that i thought may produce but didn't ? oh well we fished for a couple of hours there and i noticed the change in the temp very drastic change and i instantly Knew what that ment it ment to pack up and head to the car because shortly after the thunder had statred skies black and rain statring to come down i boogied ( not afraid to say i am scared ssss----less in thunder and lighting) looked at theron and said we gotta go now, and we did leaving poor matt way up river so we thought , he was actually closer then we thought but we headed up and got to car to realize we didn't have the keys.... opps oh well i saw a man across the street ata beautiful camp and asked him if we could put our equipment in his entry way to the garage he said sure and i wanted to run across and look down the hill to see if matt was on his way no sign of him so i went bak to the house we stood outside waiting and the very nice man invited us in to have a drink while we waited hima and his wife were just the nicest people , finally about 20 min into it he showed up looking around for us with my net i left on the side of the river LOL i left quickly ha ha...... we decided to hit the store and get some good grub for the stove. the other two paid for most everything and i wasn in charge of the food so i did it up right with some ribeye strips and some baked potatoes ... it was great . we decided after to stop at a brook we saw earlier to try but when we returned was unfishable due to pasing storm which dumped alot of water in short time . oh well we took a ride around back lake and found ourselfs at the deer head pub for some more adult beverages while it stormed badly outside , then it stopped . we decided we would try the trophy section one more time for a couple of hours and we did with really no sucess i think matt hooked and lost one or two ? and we returned to the pub for beverages and some soup and grill cheese sandwhiches. we stayed at the place for couple of hours shot a couple games of pool and headed back to the site. when we got there we went down to the lodge and read the weather warning for that night and the next morning so we made a decision to pack up right then and there and head home it was midnight when this all took place so we scrambled and got the van packed up and was on the road at 1:00 am made it back to concord for 4:45 am and went to bed for a couple of hours .......
All in all the fishing was ok and the peope i was with and around were great company and some of the people we met were just the nicest people you could ever want to meet. i look forward to fishing and tying flies with my new found friends in the very near future it was a blast and even all the little bumps in the road encountered could never take away from the whole picture and what it was like to be up there .... Enjoy the pictures.....

Here is a link to the pics i picked out of the almost 200 i took The best way to view it is to use the Slideshow option and set the speed to your liking ... and again enjoy

Nice story Zig. I hear you about thunder and lightning. I was knocked on behind by lighting . Came right through my mom and dads basement floor.  It was a very bad storm and lightning was popping all over. I was in the basement with my brother . All of a sudden bang . Lightning came right through the electrical sockets I got up to run up stairs I was barefoot and the basement floor was wet. Then another big bang and the next thing I knew I was knocked across the basement floor. My knees hit so hard together that they were black and blue for a couple  weeks . Every muscle in my body hurt all over. So when I hear the clap of thunder I start pacing around the house .. Like a scared puppy.    To bad your trip was spoiled by rain and bad weather . I tried to look at your photo's do I need an account on photo bucket to look at them ? Dave V

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.

That's quite a story Dave.  Lightening can be terrifying, but for some reason I have always been more mystified than terrified by it.  But then again I have never seen anyone or been hurt by it.

Great story Ziggy, thanks for sharing it with us.

I did a little edit on your link so it will now open in a new window.  All you ahve to do is type out something for the link and highlight it then click the link icon.  Paste the link and click the Target tab and select "New Window".  You know you can do the same thing on FFinNH, just don't have to do the Target thing.

See Yah
Thanks
Lee

Something's better than nothing I suppose.  LOL.  You liked my story Zig?  I tried to give it a way different spin and since I hadn't beensharing all my experiences with this crowd the whole time I felt as though I could start at the beginning with out losing anyone's attention.
