Well i have been itching to get over to the brook since we have had all this rain, this morning i decided i would have my wife drop me off on a cut off road that would allow me to start there and work my way all the way back up to my end of the brook , i got dropped off at 7:45 am 1st fish on by 7:55 fished the whole section caught too many to count was a beautiful morning / early afternoon got finished about 20 min ago. i wish i had more time to take you on a walk with me but this is a tease for you .. i will post the whole story here in this same thread maybe before we head off to maine later today but i got alot to do,  this one pic will have to hold you over and by far my PB for wild brook Trout in this brook. didn't measure it snaped some pics and got it right back to its hole ... I mised  another quite the same size and caught many from 2" all the way up to this,  guessing all of 11" maybe even a foot. was quite a surprise.........

Nice work my man!  I'm headed to Vermont and going to dodge the storm, or try to.  Stay out of the tropical storm bud.  Be safe and have a good time.

I was thinking according to what you were telling me I am guessig the fish are feeding heavily right now in aticipation of the storm.

I guess I'll find out I'm going to try Fly fishing in Lake Champlain from the boat Saturday.  Unless the wind is too much in that case I'll try some bait casting.  I hope it isn't too bad.
