Well.... I heard this rumor that I might be welcomed here with open arms. LOL! I appreciate the invite.
I'm Theron Hall. I moved to Concord NH about three years ago and gave up the outdoor activities I had grown up with because I didn't ven know where to start
.
I have always been intrigued by fly fishing and on my way home from a weekend in ME last May, I saw some one fly fishing off the coast, an I thought to myself, "I'm going home and breaking out the fly fishing rod my dad bought me twelve years ago and figure it out." After a month of fishing a stocked river location five days a week, I got lots of poison ivy, and finally caught my first trout. It was awesome.
I enjoyed the time to myself and the nature that surrounded me. I was absolutely thrilled about catching my first trout as well.
I am slowly coming back to my roots and I am loving it. Fly fishing is a very deep topic. There is much to learn and it may take me a life time to become any sort of master, but I am trying to learn as much as I can. With the kind help of people I have met online I have been immersed with knowledge and friendship.
I hope the membership of this forum will further lead me in these directions.
Thanks,
Theron
