Welcome Nic I think you'll like the site and Lee has all the patience in the world when it comes to helping with the site features and I sure test him. He's also big on wild brookies and knows some great places to fish for them. Enjoy.

Hello,
Just introducing myself. My name is Nic (yeah my username isn't too creative...) I live in Canaan NH. I'm 28 and I've been fishing for as far back as I remember, fly fishing for about the past 12 years. I love to fish as much as I can, but never seem to get out as much as I like. Between working and family (i'm married with a 3 year old daughter) I'm always busy. I'm an avid fly tyer as well, I've been tying probably the past 10, and to be honest it's the most rewarding part of fishing for me. What's nicer than catching a nice trout on a fly you tied yourself?
I fish for just about anything, but I'm fishing for trout about 90% of the time, bass the other 10%. I'm definitely no pro, but I just enjoy getting out with friends or family (my dad and I fly fish together when we can). Not that it's important, but I don't mine stockies at all, I enjoy small stream brookies, but I'm no snob about it either
.
I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow fisherman with similar passions. Hopefully I can contribute any knowlege I have to some meaningful discussions.
Now that I feel like I've written a singles ad I'm off!

"They say you forget your troubles on a trout stream, but that's not quite it. What happens is that you begin to see where your troubles fit into the grand scheme of things, and suddenly they're just not such a big deal anymore."
