Well I had all the intentions of wetting a fly today but the skies have opened up and now we are under a flash flood warning. My guess no fishing today for me.  I was think of trying a small pond for bass but that might not happen either.  It better not be sunny when I go to work tomorrow Dave V

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Dave I feel your pain, we have had rain off and on since last Sat and it is not going to change much until Sun.

You can count on that happening, Murphy's Law.  The Saco River in Conway NH is now 5400 cfs, normally it is 1700 cfs, so we are in for high water for some time now.  All I can say is get out if you can and make the best of it.

See Yah

Thanks

Lee

Dang the ducks and robins are happy.  My back yard is becoming a pond for the ducks.  Heavy rains are still coming down.  I had to get up on the roof a bit ago the dang gutters were clogged and the flower weed beds were filling up with water.  Did I tell you its cold rain. Reports of heavy snow on the ski slopes to bad they are closed . They could get some money this weekend.  Looking at the weather report some type of rain will be coming down until Tuesday . Meaning thunderstorms and showers.  I will never complain about rain because I have seen the10 year drought in  South Dakota . Killing off a very good stream with large Browns and Large Rainbows.  Not to mention the forest fire's .

I just wish it was spread out across the summer,  I guess my next go at fly fishing could be Monday if the streams are still in their banks.  I will make my way down to the stream tomorrow to take some pictures if they are worth taking that is. Dave V

The water jumped its banks last night but low and behold I am back at work today and it's clear skies and 62 go figure.

Rain still in the forecast want to fish in the AM but not sure if the streams are fish able. A 10 year old boy lost his life while playing by the stream yesterday.  Flash flood warnings were out for the last few days but the parents still let the 10 year old play by the stream .  Today they found the boy 50 ft from where he was playing body hung up under water on some branches. So sad
