Has anyone fished Wilson Pond near Acton? Lee, I'm assuming you have since it's near you. I really like to fish small ponds/lakes in my canoe or float tube. I'm always looking for a nice stillwater to wet my flies.

Hi Russ

First let me welcome you to the site, a little better then the last one you were on that I had.

As for Wilson Lake, and they do refer to it as a lake, the fishing can be good at times. Personally I have not fished it much. The state stocks it heavy with brown trout and this year some were in the 17 inch size range. Click on the stocking link for Maine and you will see what they have stocked there this year and in the past. Easy access for a canoe on the north side of the Lake. If you want to fish it sometime let me know and we can meet up and do it. It is open till end of November.

Again welcome and I hope you like the site.

Thanks
Lee
