Thank God, I feel bad for those who like the summer temps but for me the fall is the best, cooler days for fishing and nights for sleeping, it doesn't get any better.

Caddis you have that right. This is my time of the year. Looking forward to fishing for Salmon and trout in the fall. Sebago should be good again this year and the Crooked River and Merrymeeting will be premo. Looks good for the next week and beyond.

I am also glad to see the end of the Summer heat...But...
this time of year the to-do list always seems endless
If I can remain in an upright position the last few weeks
of the fishing season I shall spend time on the Little
Southwest Miramichi chasing the Fall run.

Happy Fishing and Tying

I love the fall . Nothing like cooler nights and lower temps in the day. Although this year it was much cooler then normal I think I heard someone say it was the third coolest summer in recorded history for Rapid City SD . I aint complaining. Looking fwd to have more stream to myself . Dave V

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
