Hi All
It is another wet and dreary day here. The rain has been
coming down steadily since early this morning. Not in a
gully wash fashion but a real soaker just the same. It is
a relief from the heat that we were getting yesterday. But
the rain has forced me into indoor projects today. I will
certainly take advantage and use the time to tie a few more flies for my box. If I get real bored, I may even start cleaning my workshop.

Cooler then normal here as well. Rain came and went but it did rain pretty hard for a bit. Temps yesterday didnt break 70 think high was 68. Today its going to be in the low 70's. To dang bad I have to work. All that rain you North Easters are getting should produce some good fall fishing. Fish will be less stressed from warm waters and from the fisherman who can't get to them because of the high waters. Should be awesome quality fishing for you. Jealous for sure.Dave V

Rain finally drove me away from the Miramichi.

Locals prediction is that it will take a week or more to get river in a fishable state.
