MAINE - Life in the Slow Lane
Tight Lines.
Well I gave my best guy's The wind really wasn't that bad when I got there. I did manage a few browns nothing much in size but fun levels were much lower then they had been just the same. The sun was bright but I think the real reason some of of the bigger fish werent rising . The flow rates were dropped over nite and the water is lower then it has been for some time. Still good flows but much lower. I also noticed the didimo growing on the rocks that were once washed clean. The water is very clear and cold . I did see a few larger fish holding in deeper runs . They looked to be Rainbows Very spookey. Dave V
Got Fishing gear Check, Got Camera Check, Got food and water check. Now whats missing . Hmm oh ya fishing dog. Wind is blowing sun is bright and its warming up fast . I am a couple hours late my stomach is rummbling but I am still going no matter what. Dave V
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
