Hi All

Fished agian on Sunday but had little luck. I fished the Ellis river and Wildcat River in Jackson NH and saw not a fish. I did meet a nice older fisherman from Conn. and I hope he will become a member of our community. His name is Dwight.

I also fished Falls pond and saw a few rises but no fish. Then I went to Hatch pond in Eaton and had some luck and caught two brook trout. They were about 10 inch fish and it took a lot to get them. There was a nice hatch of red quills coming off and the fish were rising to them but I could not get a take on a dry so I tried a small (size 18) pheasent tail nymph and had some success. No pictures but the time out was fun and at least I did not get scunked.

Cool Good to know your hitting the water Lee. How are the ponds and streams your way ? Are they down like Scotts area ?

Hi Dave

No the rivers are about right this time of year, and a little cool, lower 50's for temp. We are going to get a boot load of rain in the next two to three days so things will change again i am sure.

Sorry things aren't better up there Lee. I was going up Wed and Thurs this week but with the rain maybe I'll hold off. I fished the Lamprey last week for about an hour and a half and only got one brown around 12"
