I didnt think you would hear this coming from me , but we are under a flood warning. A fast warming spell with rains on Sunday could push our little creek over its banks . Water levels all over are climbing could make for an intresting week to come.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

The Saint John river here in NB is near flood stage as well, hopefully the rain will hold off for a week or so and let the river go down. The SJR drains slower than most rivers do because of the high tides in the bay of fundy, where the river almost stops flowing when the tide is high. The river it's self has a small rise and fall with the tide.

PS - I just said to my wife "thank goodness we have a boat in case the flood waters surround our house, I'm just not sure that we'd have room for all the kids, but I'm willing to start looking for a bigger boat, you know for safety and piece of mind." it's at this time that I usually get the ever penetrating evil eye/dirty look.

Hi Bill and Dave V.
Like Mike says Dave.."stay safe"
Get the bigger boat Bill. When the water gets up to her knees
she won't complain...Maybe even be a bit thankful. Big Grin

Happy Fishing and Tying
