Just to let you know there is a BWO hatch going on and the fish are rising like they havent eating all winter. Word is getting out fast. Fly fisherman are heading to lower Rapid Creek like the gold rush of the 1880's. I took the dog for a walk and noticed several nice browns working the surface. Rod and waders are now in truck. Now to beat a few fisherman to the good spots Dave V

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Nice to see you post buddy, I was starting to think something was wrong. Always keep a flyrod in the truck you never know.

Won't see any kind of a hatch here for a while yet. Unless
the little critters are born with ice augers. Heck, it hasn't even
been warm enough yet to bring out the sap flies onto the snow.
In fact, it is snowing lightly here at the moment.
