My fish'n partner Bob and I are heading to Quarreyville around the 26th. I have someone coming to look at our farm at noon tomorrow so it may be a fish'n / house hunting trip Mr. Green

Hi Lahave
The Northwest is high and muddy..No reports of fish in the last couple of days. The LSW is high but reasonably clear with a few fish going and a few being caught. I did not hear anything about the
Main river. But I know that there are fish going as Greg and I each
landed a fresh shiny grilse on the North Branch of Renous river
this afternoon and released a nice trout. ,,a couple of pics of
todays excursion posted to my album. Forgot to mention that the Renous is high as well.

Thanks Stephen. Big Grin I would imagine by the last week of the month we will be able to find a couple of fish. Have you ever fished Maude's on the MSW. Its just up from Gray Rapids and right accross the river from Ted Williams pool? Its the place where yah got to pay $10 to park. I love that pool, I have great luck there.

Hi Lahave
Hate to admit it, but I have only fished the Main river once
below Boiestown and that was at a private pool above
Blackville a couple of miles. And that was a long time ago.

Hey Mike ,Stephen are the fish starting to move in for the fall run or is that to early yet ?

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Dave

I think fish enter the Miramichi system from June on but the main run of fall fish comes later in the fall. Correct me if I'm wrong (Stephen and Mike).
