After several years of drought Spring Creek pretty much had dried up. The days where this stream once produced large quantity's of fish as well as some quality fish in the 25 inch range are now gone away. This year after a wet spring and some nice showers during the hottest parts of the year the water has returned. Unfortunately the fish have not. Although I have heard of a few fish caught in the 19 inch range over the past few years I have to believe they have been all removed by either the human fisherman or natures best fisherman like the Eagle or other wild critters. Maybe with some luck our rain will continue and the fish and game will restock this once awesome get away . I went out to the stream today although the temperature was close to 90 degrees I gave the hike into the stream a try. I did not venture very far but a did manage to take a few photos . hope you like them

Ya it was nice to get out Caddis , the only thing that got me down is I remember how sweat a stream this was in its glory days. The other thing is it took allot of pressure off from Rapid Creek when the fish were there. We had more then one place to go that was close by. Yes Caddis this stream is full of beautiful spots. I will take more pictures when the temps are not nearly 100 degrees I will hike into the even pretter water.
