Got out for about three hours yesterday and between three of us we boated over 35 fish. it was 9 days between fish and I feel much better now. we caught fish on spinning and fly rods. After the wind died down the fishing picked up. Here are just a couple of pics I don't want to post too many

He had a blast but now it should be time for the monsters to come up the rivers so I will be hunting them untill next weekend when I go Muskie fishing in the St. John watershed Mr. Green
Later guys,
Jake

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

not yet it has been quite cold and with little sun to warm the water the hatches have not happened yet . I think yhey might start end of this week or the begining of next week

From the picture the water looked a little chopy , Do the winds die down later in the year ? Or is it like here in SD you just have to deal with it ?

We deal with it most of the time and on occasion we get a calm day. For instance every day for over a week now we have had 15 to 20 mph wins. It has been hell trying to throw a streamer fly. It is a good thing there haven't been any hatches because I wouldn't be fishing them anyway.

Same here with the wind about 20miles an hour, We have had some small stone fly hatches and a few BWO but for the most part not any big hatches either. I think its mainly do to the rain and wind we have gotten over the past couple of weeks. Us to the hatches should kick in soon. Although they got five inches of snow in the northern hills . This could slow down the progress.
