The water temp feel back around 35 degrees and nothing was biting in the usual places so we thought trolling would work and it did but not like we expected. We thought we would pick up a salmon but instead we got this SMB

I was shocked with the water temps so low I though the only fish that would move would be salmon. It was pretty cool we did catch a small brookie, 18 in. fall fish, and two medium salmon. Over all a cold and windy but productive day.

Nice looking smallmouth .Early smallmouth action can be very good Jake. I used to run raps or stick baits along the shoreline just after ice out and would catch some beauties up around Houlton Maine. Matawmkeg something like that. Hey Jake is that your boy catching fish with his dad.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
