Hi All

Another short day on the water for me, started fishing arounf 12:30 and fished until 3 pm at the Docks on Alton Bay. Several fish caught by others, but nothing for me. I did roll one fish but he did not hit the fly. I ran into Bill Thompson from the North Country Anglers while there and fished with him for about two hours. He was trying a demo rod from Scott, it was a four piece 9 ft 5 wt rod. Looked like it cast well. He managed one fish about 15 inches and I did get a picture of it, will post later tonight.

Lee

Here are the pictures:

Here is Bill T. with his Salmon

Bill Casting his new demo rod.

And several photos of the Merrymeeting River

ENJOY

Glad to see you got another chance at it Lee. How high was the water ? How much longer before you can hit the other streams ? Is there still to much snow ?

Dave

The snow around where I live is mostly gone now, just the big piles left. Up north the snow is still deep. Water at the Bay was fine and the river flow of the Merrymeeting River was slitly high, nice for this time of year. I should be able to hit some other local streams (Little Ossipee) soon. I will keep you up to date as I go fishing.
