I got this book just before I left for the Gaspe' and only had time to hit the high points "Atlantic Salmon Magic" by Topher Browne. Great read so far and now that I'm home between the heat, rain and rebuilding my deck I'm actually finding time to sit and start from the beginning.

We had a good time the water was high for two of the days which made things hard, we also had thunder storms but thats fishing you make the best of it. Between the four of us we all hooked up two landed salmon, I landed a grilse and one guy lost his only hookup. It was his first time salmon fishing and he knows he was lucky just to have a hit. We alI lost fish, some never rose so I can't say grilse or salmon. All in all it was a good time.
