Hello,

My name is Nick Bergmann, I recently moved to Brunswick with my wife, a native Bangor gal.  I am originally from central Wisconsin, where I was taught to flyfish and tie by my grandfather.  He was an avid streamer fishermen always believing, "big fish eat little fish."  I moved to La Crosse, Wisconsin for my college years, mostly for its proximity to some amazing trout streams.  After college, I ended up in North Dakota for two years and California for several more. I regret to say my fly rod was in storage during that time due to the lack of trout fishing in ND and the vacuum of city life in CA.

I am excited to be here in Maine, it reminds me much of my home, with more lobsters and fewer R's.  I have gone fishing quite a few times this year without much luck so far, still getting acquainted with the area.  Hopefully, it will pickup soon.

Thank you for allowing me to join this site.

Welcome to the site. Looking forward to hearing more about you and your future fishing adventures. Enjoy Maine. Lots of quality Brook Trout fishing up north . Miss my home state dearly.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
