That is why I got a waterproof camera. Had visions of doing the same thing.

Is it possible the iCloud backed up your pictures automatically? Of course I am sorry about your phone, but I REALLY want to see the pictures!
No ICloud backup.......no cell coverage where it happened so it never had a chance to get to the "cloud". Hopefully I will have some pics this Friday as a friend and I are planning a trip back to the area that day........new cell phone will be here tomorrow, with a waterproof LifeProof case
Been there done that. Fell in the stream with my phone. Now it goes in a water proof bag and I to have a water proof camera. Maybe one day I will get to use it. Water still very high here in the Dakotas. I need to get out soon to heal my mind for a while. Dave V
I had an invite to fish Thursday with Lee and Brian, but had work commitments and missed what looked like to be a pretty good day. I was able to get out Sunday morning though and found myself on the Peabody River at 6ish in the morning. It was slow at first, but it picked up and I ended up catching a dozen or so rainbows. Some had great color and I was able to get some good photos. I fished the river till about ten am, then drove down to the upper Ellis River to try for some native brookies. I was able to catch a bunch of those too, they were stunning in their color. Dark fish with orange bellies, just beautiful. I got some great photos there too, then moved upstream. I caught more, and after a couple of hours called it quits and headed home. Where are these great pictures you ask???? That's another story.......suffice it to say that an iPhone doesn't fare well when it spends 20 minutes submerged in 8 inches of a fast moving mountain stream...........I still had a very good day.
