The rain continues in the Black Hills and or Rapid City South Dakota . Pactola lake water levels haven't been this high since 1966. Streams are blown out and flooding over. Water released from all the dams have caused damage to ball fields , golf courses and residential property. My flyfishing as been put on hold.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Looking forward to hitting the streams. Got to do something soon . I'm about to go crazy. Wife said I'm a grumpy old goat . Temperature hit high 70 this weekend 84 today with a strong breeze that should be a good start. Did yard work all weekend. Grass was nearly two feet tall. Lots of ticks and mosquitoes. Fun times. Glad you all are getting moisture. Your right when things settle down here fishing should be great. I have a feeling the streams will have a new look . They have the roads closed to the stream. Guess they got washed out. I will try to get in and access things. Maybe take a few photos.
