Hi All

Fished up in the North Conway/Jackson area on Saturday with Ktbone(Keith).  We had a great day of fishing

linksrcSurprisedrig Action shot of Keith with a great Rainbow in the Warehouse Pool
.  We met at North Country Anglers at 7:15am and we proceeded to the Warehouse Pool on the Ellis River in Glen.  One other person was there but said he had caught two or three fish but would be leaving soon.  The fish were rising all over the pool so Keith and I started to go after them, it was hard.  Not sure what they were taking so we both tried lots of flies, what finally worked for me was a Griffith Nat.  I managed two fish before we moved on to the Wildcat River in Jackson.
linksrcSurprisedrig One of the many stocked Brook Trout we both caught.
We fished the rest of the morning and into the early afternoon.  We both caught lots of fish and when we moved up to Malloon Road the fish then were all wild.  After awhile I suggested we go back and finish at the Wearhouse Pool.

Keith got into a great Rainbow using a size 28 Griffith Nat.

linksrcSurprisedrig The only good picture I got of the fish, about 16 to 18 inches.
I managed two more fish, both Brook Trout and Keith managed to hook one more Rainbow who broke him off.  He did get one Brook Trout.

Lee left out the part about the honey hole.  First spot we tried on the Wildcat I lucked into the hotspot.  I managed over two dozen trout without moving more than 25'

Walking upstream I got into some spectacular wild brookies, Lee's leftovers at this point

Wish I had a better pic of the bow I pulled out of Warehouse pool, he was a fatty!  The thing that made it for me was it was the biggest fish to date on my Boo and the smallest fly I have landed a substantial fish on.

Thanks again Lee for a great day of fishing and a catered stream side meal, let's do it again real soon.

Mr. Quiggly Most excellent post gentleman.   Well done on the stream. Nice looking fish and wonderful photos . Clapping
