Hi All

Got out fishing yesterday and managed a few fish.  Was a long day, picked up Brien around 5:30am and we were off to North Conway and the Saco river.  Fished the glide by the Golf Course with nothing happening so we went back up toward the bridge where many fish were rising as we walked down river.  Managed two fish using a small Griffith Natt.  One Brown and one Brookie, both around 10 to 12 inches.  We then went to the fly show where Brian had to leave his rod that needed a new reel seat.  We then went to the Ellis River and fished the wearhouse pool.  It was around 10am and some fish were rising.  So I put on a Red Quill size 12 and tried my luck with these fish.  Got several fish, all Brookies, and around 10 inches long.

Brian tried but was not able to hook a fish, he did have several rises but not good enough to hook up.  We ate lunch and then went to the Wildcat for some small stream fishing for wild Brook Trout.  We fished the section around Maloon Road Bridge and managed a good number of wild Brook Trout.  Brian did catch the best wild fish of the day.

We changed to a different area of the river and managed a few more wild fish but also caught several stocked Brookies.  Brian got one he said was the biggest fish he had caught fishing with me.  He said it was like getting an Eagle while Golfing.

That was our day and it was a great day on those three rivers.

See Yah
Thanks
Lee

Lee has the fishing been a bit behind up there ? Good to your getting out and fishing with friends .  I like how you got the pictures without keeping the fish out of water for too long . I am trying to do this more . If I can't get the shot right away I elect to let the fish go .  Trying to do my part and not put anymore stress on the fish then need be. Another good reason to have a partner . Nice looking fish you caught . Look healthy and fed  Dave V.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
