We need to fish the mountain rivers some time this summer. My favorites are the Sawyer, Rocky Branch and the Wildcat.
Let's give it a try sometime this summer.

Welcome to the family!
I am in the mid-NH area (Weare) and my main partner in crime is about halfway between the two of us (Merrimack), we will have to get together this season since we already fish many of the same rivers and streams. Unlike you I love to fish ponds and lakes, mainly in the float tube, if you have not tried it you should....we have loaners.
Like Lee said we should go hit some of the small WtMtn. streams this summer, those little wild fish are a blast to catch, especially on an ultralight rod, my weapon of choice is a 1wt.
Now is the time to get caught up on the past posts and wonderful photos on this sight, soon we will all be gathered round the virtual campfire telling tales and ribbing each other. Oh, I almost forgot, never ever complain about a lack of water because Dave will strip down and do his rain dance, then we will all be in trouble!
Lee and Ktbone, I tried to post a response to your messages, but I don't think it went through. I would love to go out with you guys sometime this summer in the mountains. Let me know. Thanks.
Bill
Are you fishing tomorrow, opening day for the Trout Ponds, we are going to hit Hatch Pond in Eaton tomorrow and you are welcome to join us. Let us know.

No thanks Lee...don't really like fishing ponds.
Hi Folks. My name is Bill and I live in Hollis, NH. I have been fly fishing off and on since 1982, mostly in New England, though I have fished the San Juan in New Mexico and did some Salmon fishing with heavy gear in the state of Washington. I have discovered that while big fish are nice to catch, I am just as happy fishing for 10-12 inch trout in streams that can be waded. I REALLY don't like to fish in ponds.
I have spent a fair amount of time on the Androscoggin River near Errol, NH. Other streams in the area include the Souhegan River, the Swift (NH) River, the Mad River (NH), the Wild Ammonoosuc, the Ammonoosuc, East Branch of the Pemi, Gale River, Baker River, Newfound River, Mascoma R. Warner R. etc. Plus a few rivers in Vermont and Maine.
In addition to fishing, I like to shoot skeet and sporting clays.
I look forward to participating and learning from this forum. If I can offer any thoughts, I will.
Thanks.
