It has been a hectic past couple of months...Cleaning out an old house and getting prepared to tear it down.

Water has been in the bushes most of the time so I have not gotten any Fall fishing done.  Roof on my house

developed a few bad leaks and the last few days have been spent putting on new roofing...Now about half

done...Must be a great sight to see  a husband and wife in their sixties wandering around on a roof...

Moose season was this past Thursday, Friday and Saturday.   There is a draw for licences...I did not lose

a moose so I did not hunt for one...With my luck if I fell into a barrel of breasts I would come out sucking my thumb.

By the looks of my fireplace chimney I will likely have to mix up a batch of mortar and rebuild the top section

Was informed yesterday that the majority of my camp loga have been cut...I hope it is a mild winter as the logs will

have to be peeled...Tha.t will require hours and hours with a drawing knife

For an old man with a bad heart I seem to keep busy and have big plans..But so long as I can stay on top of the ground

looking down I may be able to accomplish a few more things.

Happy Fishing and Tying

Man Stephen you have had a string of crazy luck. I will be the first to tell you I haven't been doing any rain dances. So all that rain your getting is all on mother nature. On the bright side Old man winter hasn't shown his face. I hope things turn around up there before you float away. Stay safe Take it slow . Till next time may the sunshine be upon you . Dave V

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
