MAINE - Life in the Slow Lane
I havn't tied a fly for a long while...But have to take the time soon to tie a few brown bugs
and red butt butterflys for my Fall fishing...Will be in size 6 so should not put much strain
on the old eyeballs.
I tied up about four dozen WDH and now I am moving on to usuals, compraduns, and humpties.
I have a new storage cabinet I need to fill.
Just,finished up two dozen Usuals, might do a few more tomorrow or maybe move on to Hupties.
Going to try some caddis dries any suggestions ?
I have been busy tying up flies for the fall fish. Passing the hot summer days waiting for the results of my x-rays of my neck and shoulder. Tied up some renegades , CDC emergers , a few wood duck heron flies . Still haven't got it down as of yet. Going to tie up some Wulffs Royal , Grey and White. Trying to go all dry this fall, Just curious to see if anybody else is at the vice. Dave V
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
