Dave
For me this and last year is hard to say. Since I just had cataract surgery on both eyes I should get out more. Last year I fished maybe 8 to 10 times all year, very low number for me. This year so far around 4 times but I plan a lot more this summer and fall. Back when I fished more I probably fished 20 to 25 days a year.

30-40- days a year on average if I was take a guess. It will definately be more when we move back to New Brunswick!!!!!
I have to say about 60 - 70 times in one year lately, but in the early 80's I fished 326 days in one year. I was going for 365 but do to illness and extreamly bad weather I didnt make it.
Wow now thats a dedicated fisherman!! The fall of the year brings other interests to the fore front for me and I don't get back in the fish'n mood until after new years when I start tying flies again.
I used to hunt and allot of my freind still do, I love the fall because the streams open up to only me and a few. The rest are hunting The water is cooler and the fight is better. I think also the fish are larger.
Hi Dave
I go fishing about 8-10 times a year lately. Used to fish a lot more,
but the hills are getting steeper and the rocks a lot more slippery.
Maybe I'm just getting old.
But when I make an excursion now, it is usually for 3-4 days.
Stephen
Hey Stephen I know what you mean about them hills and rocks and I'm only in my late forties. Cant tell you how many trips falls and boucnes on my butt I have had in the last year. The good thing I've always managed to save the fly rod
save the gear thats the important thing...lol
Thats right save the equipment at all cost
How may days of the year do you fish ?
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
