I agree Zig seams like all of the other sites are slow as well. FB has taken over without a doubt . But this is my home I will continue to be a part of it . I hope it picks up again here .

Everyone is out fishing thats all!  Who has time to spend on the internet when you can be out on the water!

So far my season has been like........!!

Smart phones and facebook are the enemy!

If I had to post a report for every trip I made this year I'd get banned because I'd look like a spam BOT!

I hope your right . If everybody is fishing then there should be some great reports in the slower months. Myself fishing has been put on a side burner until I get everything in order for my up coming month vacation. Most likely I won't get a ton of fishing during that either . I do plan on getting to meet some of you and hope to fish with you all as well. I know Stephen and Lee have made plans to hook up I others will join in. Now it looks like your getting some quality fishing in Mr Hornberg well done.

Well it looks like the house issue has been ironed out.  I think I have bought another one.  The ironic part....  It is right across from the first house I told you all about.  Now that that is under my belt, I have to find some more time for fishing.  The last couple of weekends I have not managed to fish really at all.  Between catching up with friends and ironing out the details on our first home and a little boy that has way more energy than both his parents combined life has been busy.

A couple weeks ago a friend of mine (tundra) and I took his two little girls out fishing (bait casting) they are 8 and 4 years old I think.  The situation was not ideal.  I took them to a favorite spot of mine near where I will be moving, where the Winnipesauki River flows over a dam and a few hundred yards later opens up to Silver Lake.  The river was really high due to recent rain fall and the water was a bit cooler than I expected.

The girls were a bit impatient, and I was hoping the pan fish would be more active.  The little one managed to catch a nice pumpkin seed about 9 inches long on her Barbie pole and the older one was incredibly jealous.  So I can't really call it a successful day.  I tried to teach the oldest a lot about fishing but with limited success, I'm sure most of it will not stick.

Next time maybe.

Nic and I are supposed to do some exploring back country ponds around Belmont area for natives.  He has a couple super secret ponds already.  He won't even tell me.  LOL.

So I apologize for not contributing too much, and I hope most of the online population is out and about.  I have been fantasizing about another Kayak and some saltwater gear to hit the coast.  That at this point is a far off dream!  Since my mortgage is going to put a tight cinch on the budget.

T~

It'll be a complete load off when we are in and all the finances are worked out for sure.  I cannot wait for the days of having company again. I was always big on having guest for dinner and just having a social atmosphere at home, but since we moved here I have not done so.  The apartment has felt very cramped, and I generally tend to shy away from guests here.  I think with a bigger home, it won't be such an issue.

I look foward to cook outs and family holidays and just being able to do what I want in our house.

For the most part I have been avoiding stocked waters like the plague with the exception of a few quick trips to pick up some bigger rainbows.  I have yet the leave the lakes region so far this year going no further north than ossipee.  Picked up this great specmin just the other day, wow!!!
