went up north to fish for some brookies got there early Kenny Lambert we fished hard before the rain came i got into a nice small one to start then this monster comes along to join the fun was a blast 2nd largest brookie i have caught on the fly, the rain drove us out of north country we headed south and fished another great little trout pond and both got a few . had a moose walk right up to us .

Thanks Bob was a blast . things are slowing down for me at moment so hopefully we can get together soon and sling some flies and some arrows .... I got a VT lic this year

 That is a heck of a nice Brook Trout Zig. Well done. I see my rain dance has been working . Big Grin

On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,

Nice one Ziggy! I hooked into a nice one like that but he manged to break me off on the only stick in the river, and not six feet from where I was standing.   I'm seeing a lot of fatties this year, not near the number of last year but fatter. 

 

We need to plan a GTG sometime towards the end of May / begining of June.  If you have your VT Lic this year we should plan to head up to the Burlington area this fall for steelhead as well.

Ktbone yes that would be nice , things have been hectic to say the least the past 6-8 months but slowing down I 'll be fishing more. we'll get a hold of each other and set something up sounds like fun
