The EverGreen Hand was invented by Jesse Scott a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. It all started when a friend of Jesses asked him to help out with the rehabilitation of wounded servicemen and women. Jessie is an avid fly angler and fly tier, so he started of thinking how his passion for the sport would be applicable and came up with this device that allows a person with the use of only one hand to tie flies which for many of us is a chore with both hands.

Jesse teamed up with Dean Childs who started Wasatch Fly Tying Tools, and with Deans engineering expertise they refined the design and now Dean manufactures the tools in his basement. Add to the mix the Federation of Fly Fishers along with other generous donors and this movie and manufacture of the vises is underway.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
