Has anyone ever fished the Sawyer River and or Sawyer Pond in Hart's Location?

My buddy Shaun and I are thinking about hiking in this spring.

That is one of my favorite streams to fish in the mountains.  I have never fished the Pond and the hick in is easy, about a mile or more and a gradual up.  The stream coming out of the pond I want to fish this year, I think it has great potential.

Let me know when you are going to fish up there and I can be a guide for getting in.

See Yah
Thanks
Lee

Haven't fished it, but I'm always interested in a hiking/ fishing trip.  Fished and camped at flat mountain pond a couple times a number If years ago.  Some nice brookies around the inlet and the beaver activity.  Also fun up the brook and then back down.  Don't remember the loop off hand.  One stream I'd like to try is Moriah Brook in the Wild River Wilderness. Hiked it a number of times and there are a lot of nice pools and a beautiful gorge.

I was up there about 3 weeks ago.  I took a nice picture of the water up there, this is not the stream that flows out of sawyer but its one thats within about 2 miles of it.  This one is about 1.5 miles from the Kanc side.
