I have been curious about this system for months now . I didn't think spending $69.00 hard earned dollars would be worth it. Well I broke down today and went to my local fly shop and forked out the bucks. Well I absolutely love the thing. Maybe not for everybody but I enjoy how it looks on my quill body flies. Strip a peacock feather of it's fibers wrap the quill and apply the goo shine the UV light dry to the bone in seconds and clear as glass . Nice hard body and durableThumbup

IDK still a lot of money for glue.   I do like using acetate floss however.  Wrap your body with acetate floss, drip on some acetone and BAM hard glossy body.  If you want that thicker glass dipped look add some hard as hull when the floss is dry.

For now, I still use Sally Hansens on all my trout flies, even the "Buzzer" style flies. It's a lot cheaper. I do use 5 min epoxy at times and I'm going to try Liquid Fusion too. Depending on the type of flies you tie, there is a place for it's use. It's just the initial cost that's hard for some to justify. I'll probably have to invest in one of the products being offered on the market. I get asked a lot if I use the method on my flies.

I have to agree with you all about the price of getting started. Oh and yes there are many products out there that do a great job for a far less cost . I really like the product so far . It has it's purpose. May not use it for every fly but so far i like how it covers my quill wraps . Fast with no mess.
