Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

 I like tying these style of flies. I really enjoy the nymphs and emergers.  You think this might work in Brown?  Maybe a quill body with a dudded thorax and brown CDC feathers????

 

I have all of those things floating around the desk.

 

Honestly I am yet to fish one succesfully, but I have faith in them.  They are a nymph and yet they are almost fished like a dry.  How can you go wrong with that?

I'm sure the trout will just love these in brown, I just tied up a few in brown myself.

I cleaned up with an emerger pattern last spring at Whittimore, it was grey and brown.
