Do you use a rotary vise ? I have come to the conclusion that a rotary vise would be much easier to use when tying streamers So many wraps Big Grin

Hi Dave V
I have never used a true rotary vise. My first decent vice was
a Thompson Model A.....Next vice was a Veniards...Then a few
years ago I treated myself to a Regal.
Trouble is, if I had a true rotary vice, I would be tempted to add a
sewing machine motor and foot pedal to it in order to enable real production. Big Grin
And why so many wraps for a streamer?. Achieving a smooth
body with 6/0 or smaller is not difficult. Perhaps you should use
something other than your shoe laces to tie flies....SORRY..Just
could not resist. Big Grin ....and I know you will get your revenge.

Stephen

Hey Stephen I am used to tying size 18 - 24 flies. Very little wraps. I am not used to the larger hooks yet. On the bright side I can see my hooks without the aid of a mag .
