Hi all

headed for the Little Southwest miramichi on Saturday afternoon. Was a foggy trip over...At one area the visibility was only about 100 feet. Only saw one salmon splash on Saturday evening....The Grandson hooked and lost a nice trout. Sunday morning i hooked and landed a nice grilse on the first pass through the pool..sunday evening fishing produced zilch as did monday morning..Packed up and headed home. Was a nice trip though with everything in full Fall colour. Just a tad cool and breezy for my liking though.

This second photo was taken while I was sitting next to the river and contemplating life....If the photo contest hasn't ended then i respectfully submit this pic  as my entry.

I tried to resize the pics but had no success...Sorry Lee.

Happy Fishing and Tying

I'm glad even if uneventful that you found the time to enjoy the beauty of fall.  And you did get some sweet photos. That is for sure!

Thanks for sharing.

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.
