I hit it tonight about a half click below where Ziggy Keith and T Bone were.  What a madening experience.  The freakin fish were literaly jumping out of the water after white mayflies. Yah yah, I'm color blind, maybe they were yella. They were some damn light color.Big Grin

The sons a beeches were just out of casting range. I laid out the whole fly line and still couldn't reach em. Aghhhhhhhh!

Did manage to nail one that foolishly drifted within range, a nice 16 inch rainbow.

I regret dumping that 12 weight St Croix now. The trees on the opposite shore were not out of reach with that rod Mr. Green

There will be another day. If I coulda got on the other side they'd have been screwed. If only I could fly Laughing Out Loud

I was thinking that my first day there, but the opposite bank was steep and had lots of vegitation.  It would be much harder to cast, and probably way deeper very quickly making wading impossible.

Movie...?  Really?  We could start our own television show...  Oooohhh... Now we are talking!
