Dave
I don't have any but I should get some. First let me say the color that I have used and liked was amber, and they for sure need to be polerized. Other then that I don't have much advice.

Thanks Lee . I have heard that amber is a very good color lense as well.
I have smith optics. The model I have are equipped with interchangable lenses and come with polarized black yellow amber and clear lenses. I got a heck of a deal at LL BEan's outlet in the fall. They were $129.99, but on sale for $39.99. Otherwise I'd be wearing gas station specials still. Since I lost my ray bans and the oakleys bit the dust.
A subject near and dear to my heart. My eyes are very sensitive to light and when over exposed triggers severe migraines so I have a ton of glasses. I also have tendency to lose, break, destroy, etc expensive pairs so I learned to shop for good quality glasses on clearence.
I just bought several pairs of Fisherman Eyewear glasses and I really like them. They have a very strong polerization so reading LED dials while driving is near impossible but you can see right through the glare on the water. My favorite pair are the Wahoo with the grey lens, the dark lens is better for mid day clear skies.
I picked them up at Bob Marriotts in the clearence section for $10.

If you are getting to the age where you can no longer thread that 6x tippet on that #22 midge without assistance then these are the bee's knees!
Hi Dave V.
I prefer the amber polarized glasses....A few years ago i was talking with an old guide.
He said he had a pair at home that he could see through tarpaper with...i wish I had a pair of those.
Thanks guys for all your adivce . I will be looking for one of them deals you guys have found on your quest for a good pair of sun glasses. Stephen if you come across a pair of them see though tar paper give me a shout .
on the cheap side, I have a pair of flying fisherman glases with yellow-amber lens. this color if by far the best for use during cloudy days or in any low light conditions. they have multiple models with different types of lenses and cost, of course. i got a pair for $17 from amazon and love them. But no matter wht the brand is, yellow/amber lens are making things much better in low light conditions.

Agreed! My mountain biking glasses are yellow lenses, so as the forest gets dark I can still see the details of the trail well.
I have a really good pair of sun glasses Coast is the name brand . They are suppose to be the cat's meow of sun glasses. They are very nice but they are way to dark . Being so dark it makes it hard to find and see fish. I would like to hear from you all on your favorite brand and color lens you fish with. I hear Tan is a very good color it is suppose to bring out the fish better . What is your opinion ?
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
