Now this rocks! A lounge chair 20 feet up in a tree Big Grin  I well remember my early outings with the Baker climbers, and after near getting killed with one I picked up a Loggy climber. While it was better it still was a squirrely contraption.

This is the current generation and I can say in all honesty they have done their homework. This one climbs like a bear, and it's rock solid.  The leverage points are perfect, and at 21 pounds it's easy to pack into the timber.  I especialy like the big saw tooth grips on the platform and the seat.  Once you set them in the tree the stand isn't going anywhere. The added cinch straps are an engineering marvel and make the stand as solid as a hang on with rachet straps.

It runs the dead metal technology so it's whisper quiet in the climb  The included full restraint fall harness reminds me of the days when I jumped out of aircraft and is also well designed.

Summit gets close to $400 for a comprable stand, these can be had for $249. I haven't found anything not to like about the setup, and if you're looking for a good bang for the buck ( pun intended ) I'd give this one a 5 star rating .

Desinged for bow or gun it's just plain hard to beat Mr. Green

Looks like a good stand Koda.

The way my knees and back feel after a few days jumping from rock to rock fishing the last few days I can't think of climbing any trees at the moment however.  Right now a comfortable ground blind sounds inviting.  I have run my tail off today at work as well.  Man am I beat!  My knee is getting better and soon I'll have my strength back I hope!

The old bones don't want to play anymore Big Grin  I went to the bone Doc early part of March and he said to go back to what I was doing. Well I did, am, and it keeps giving me friendly reminders. Ziggy said a year before his was half good again. Ugh.
