Good stuff Mike today...
I was working my guts out today in the heat of the sun all day and noticed all the flies comming to life and all I wanted to do was go fishing...I wont fish it until Saturday, but that is still unsure because the Mighty Saint John River is still very high and if there is a run of fish, there probably still in peoples back yards swimming through grass and Jon Deers...!

Yes Mike nice fish and yes it wasn't a minnow but it was caught on a lure not a fly 
So that is cheating 
Not caught by me Dave remember that...LOL... we missed the mayfly hatch there and there wasn't alot of fish showing but for the first outing of the year a good day on the water none the less.
I'm leaving Friday morning for a 4 day trip down east with my buddy Bob and we should get into some nice trout.

Mike I was just razing you guy's. Man a 4 day fishing trip now I'm really jealous .Mike you have a great time on that trip catch a ton of nice trout (on a fly ) 
I'm hoping to get some on fly Dave but the lake we are going to averages 60' deep so most of the fishing is done with big spinners and crawlers or minnow. Crap I don't even remember if I own a spinning rod. Can't wait for Friday morning. I'll take the camera along for the trip 
Spinning rod , crawlers, Hang on I have to go search google not sure what you mean by that. I know what a minnow is I catch them all the time so everybody tells me. 
That would be awesome for all of us to get together. Of coarse I would have to purchase a bullet broof rod case .
Mayfly hatch I'm jealous, Go catch em Mike.
