Just sent my home computer back to Gateway to get it fixed, will not boot. I hope they don't have to replace the hard drives, lots of pictures that I don't want to lose. Should be back in business again in a couple of weeks. So please bear with me while the puter is gone, I will most likely not be on the internet from fri to sun night. So if you need something please ask early in the week Mon thru Thur during the work day.

Thanks

Lee

Gateway has the computer and here is hoping they can get it fixed in short order, and that the hard drive was not the problem.

Glad to hear it wasnt the hard drive Lee

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was
cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.
On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words,
and some of the words are theirs.

Dave

I don't know if it was the hard drive or not, thats what I was trying to say is that I hope the hard drive is OK. I don't have a backup for whats on it. I should know in about a day or two.

Hi Lahave
Want me to resend those pics? Big Grin
When a hard drive croaks suddenly, without warning, it is
usually a major disaster. Have had several go on me..Reloading
drivers is a pain. Hope you didn't lose anything important.

Mike

I think that any pictures you loaded here can easily be copied back to your machine. Just bring up the photo and click on it so you get it in a seperate window, then right click and "save picture as....", by doing that, you use the largest image I have storied here. If you need any help with this just ask.
