As far as I can confirm for now Lee is that DFO closed down the fish way and counter at Morgan Falls due to low hot water. No fishway no more fish getting above the falls.

Salmon #'s through the counter as of 08 July 2008

SALMON- 92
GRILSE- 439

Last year there were 323 salmon and grilse total by the time the when the closed the counter for the season in the fall.

Some pics from the LaHave this season and one of my youngest fella with a shad he caught on the Annapolis River here by home

Good to hear the numbers are up this year , Sad to hear the water is low and temps are up and your season has ended early Mike. Nice looking fish . So what are your fishing plans ? Making any trips to where the water is open ? Mike how tall is the guy in your first picture ? He looks like a big dude.
