Dave I challanged the test instead of taking the course. I had my NB guides license but it was not transferable. After the criminal records check and all the other BS paper work it took the province about 2 months to get the license out to me.
I'm going to be working for an outfitter in September he has 18 Yanks coming up to bear hunt!! Should be a great time.
Sounds like the Gov always tons of red tape paper work. Well at least you finally got it.
So you do both hunting and fishing ? When you say your working for a outfitter do you get to keep all the cash them Yanks are going to spend or do you have to split it ?

I am just a hunting guide . There are 3 types of guides in NS, hunting, fishing and Master Guide.
You don't need a guide to fish in NS as a non resident . Can't figure out why?? The outfitter I will be working for in September will pay me the clients pay him. Details to follow 
My guides license , badge, and crest finally came today in the mail.
