Wind wind and more wind, Rapid City just went through 60 mile an hour winds with a town 10 miles away getting 95 mile an hour gust. I thinking I might give flyfishing a try winds will only be in the 50 mile an hour range tommorow. Mr. Green

Northern Maine is supposed to have a foot of snow tonight.

When the wind's blowing that hard I use my GI Joe Parachute and tie that to my line and just position myself so the wind does all the work Big Grin

Does great on the drift as well!!!!!

Good advice Dave G I will have to give that a try. heck gust are only 60 plus now so I should be fine with a chute. Maybe I'll tie myself off just in case. Big Grin .

Good old Rapid City The wind has left our area and I am so greatful for that. If I didnt have to go to work today I would be on the streams. Todays high going to be 62. Not bad for the middle of November. Sorry to you guys in the far north NB Canada. This week will be mild but next week Old Man Winter looks to get some revenage. I will keep you posted Dave V

Dang its only in the high 60's today. Wife and I were just talking about how back in 93 the ice would be forming on the lakes and I would be ice fishing by turkey day on Deerfield lake up in the hills. Dont even think its starting to layer up yet.

Um there is this substance falling from the sky today. Hard to make out what it is . I have seen pictures of it once in a magazine. I think they refered to it as snow. Big Grin
